This is one of my favourite song (both melody + lyric) written by the late James Wong, especially Shirley's version which totally transformed it into a cantopop hit & overshadowed the original Teresa's version. A special live version by Shirley in "Music Is Live [1999]" concert.

This is the 1st time I found my original CD became un-readable, after tried in CD players, DVD players, PC & Mac optical CD-combo and DVD-rewritable drives... Finally it can be read and ripped off as mp3. You can hear the original, damaged 1 (less noisy - ) & damaged 2 (very noisy - current) versions, but the same OST CD is still in perfect condition. Why why why?

Ryuichi Sakamoto 坂本龍一 - Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence [1983 - 2009]

Ryuichi Sakamoto is my most favourite Japanese male musician & "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" surely is topped as No.1 among all his works. Since 1st appeared in 1983 under the movie OST, many artists trying to twist and turn into various styles like R&B, Dance or even Rock.
Until 2009, Utada Hikaru, my another favourite female J-pop artist, finally sing it in R&B style. I like the most is the version in "1996" album, using only violin, cello & piano (piano played by Sakamoto), simple but impactful.

I love this movie & all soundtrack of it, especially this full length version of "The Chase", originally in a promo 12" vinyl [1978] & re-issued in CD format [2004]. Together is "Jam & Spoon Club Mix"[2000] done by my favourite group - Jam & Spoon.

Shirely Kwan 關淑怡 - The Moon Song 月光曲 [1996 & 1997]

One of the famous songs among die-hard Shirley's fans, "The Moon Song" appeared firstly in the compilation "The World Song 為全世界歌唱" [1996] & originally sung with Grasshoppers 草蜢. But the "Fever Version" is mixed purely with Shirley vocal. I prefer this version to the original and extracted it from original cassette tape.

So impressed by this wonderful megamix of Herbie Hancock's hits, most of the songs from his "Future Shock" [1983] album (including: Rockit, Autodrive, Shock, TFS & Rough) and only "Chameleon 84" was not in this album. This version was from a compilation "CBS/Song: Super Stars Super Hits Vol. 4" [1984].

Gallen Lo 羅嘉良 - Golden Faith 流金歲月 [OST] [2002]

"Time's Fairytale" was another Sidney's favourite tune from the popular TV drama "Golden Faith". Gallen Lo is one of my favourite actor/singer, even though sometimes he was overacting. Together's the ending theme "When Love Comes To An End" from the same drama.
